As early as 2019, we introduced an Information Security Management System (ISMS) for this purpose, with which we put our established processes to the test and, if necessary, revised them and introduce new processes. At the same time, our Information Security Manager is also responsible for certifications in the area of information security. LEONHARD KURZ was thus able to objectively and credibly demonstrate its professional handling of highly secure data through TISAX® certification for the automotive industry and certification in accordance with the industry-independent ISO/IEC 27001 standard.

Since October 2021, LEONHARD KURZ has been certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001 in the area of ‘Operation of the digital services infrastructure’. ISO/IEC 27001 is the leading international standard for information security management systems and is thus the highest standard currently available for ensuring information security within a company. LEONHARD KURZ thus verifiably proves the continuous planning, implementation, monitoring, and improvement of its information security system. The aim is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customer data at all times.

The security level of LEONHARD KURZ Stiftung & Co. KG is according to VDA/ISA TISAX®‘Strictly Confidential’, ‘Info Very High’, ‘Proto Parts’, and ‘Avail Very High’ (Assessment Level 3).
